I was reading about the apidextra scam when my phone rang. I thought it was the husband because he always calls me everyday while at work. I was surprised that it was my girlfriend from Maryland. She seldom calls me because she is working as a nurse with a very hectic schedule. And I was surprised the more to learn that she was on duty when she called me. She was just having a break because she was already exhausted, and it was still the middle of her duty.

Poor friend! Well, we do need to work hard to survive in this dog-eat-dog world and I don’t think there is such a thing as non-tiring or non-exhausting work, is there?

He Lights Up My Life

I really like looking at our garden lights at night. We have led lights that are powered by solar energy. They are small but they look so nice from afar especially since we don’t have any other light in that area.

The husband and I are actually planning to buy more and we will place them on each side of the walkway. That will certainly look pretty. We actually stayed outside for a few minutes last night and just stared at the lights. It was lovely not to mention, romantic. Am I being sappy now?

I Do Wonder Too

I wonder why we are such a judgmental society. We judge people’s looks, their financial status, the color of their skin, their sexual orientation, the clothes they wear, their religion, their body, their hair… IT IS WHAT IS ON THE INSIDE THAT MATTERS.

A friend on Facebook posted this today, and I totally agree with her. I do wonder too why there are such people. Why can’t they just mind their own business and be happy for people and respect their choices. Is it human nature? I don’t think so. It has to do with attitude, I believe. Do you think so too?

His Job is Never Ending

My husband just called to inform me that he had to work overtime because their misting system had problems. He doesn’t know yet how big the problem is and how long it will take him to fix it, meaning he will not be here for dinner.

That really sucks! I always look forward to the three of us having dinner together because that is the only time on week days when we have quality family time.

Well, we still have tomorrow. So here I am again, looking forward to the morrow.

I Do Wonder What They Taste Like

Do you like Black and Mild? You might think that I am talking about coffee, but no. I am actually referring to the brand of cigars. I came across them today and I didn’t know there was such brand. That’s a given, I guess, since I don’t smoke. More so, I am a woman and I don’t think women smoke cigars. Or do they? That’s another thing that I am clueless about.

I don’t really mind if women will smoke cigars or not though. It is a matter of choice. And besides, it is their life and that is probably how they live life to the fullest.

Don’t you love it when it is already Friday?

I am a stay at home wife and mom, but I certainly look forward to it too because I couldn’t wait to spend the weekends with my two boys – my husband and my son. Our Saturdays and Sundays are always spent together thus, it is something that I really look forward to all the time.

Both my husband and my son do look forward to Friday too. Who wouldn’t? I guess all we are does, huh?

What Better Place to Sit?

I was looking in the direction where the community garden is located when I thought that small pergolas would be nice to look at in that location. Maybe on the side where the vines will be planted or on the side where our tool shed is.

It would be really nice to have a pergola there where each and everyone of us can use it and sit on it while enjoying the beauty and scenery of the garden. There’s no beauty in it yet though because we haven’t started planting yet and the garden is bald. But it will be surely lovely once everything is lush. I’ll tell them about the idea.

I Could Work, and Then Shop at Work After I Get Off

Being a stay-at-home mom has a lot of advantages. And I can’t think of a disadvantage except for boredom. LOL. But I guess boredom gets in our way from time to time wherever we are or whatever we are into.

I do love being at home, but I also have this urge sometimes of having a job. I hadn’t thought of it lately until I came across a kmart application for employment online. Kmart is one of our favorite stores to visit and check, like their sister company, Sears. And I guess it would be nice to work there, but not in the store but in the office. If given a chance, I might consider applying for a job there. Hmmm! We’ll see about that.

God is Good All the Time

He definitely is!

He has been watching us from the start of this journey - mine and my husband’s love story. It may be sappy for some, but really, He is. Everything came at the right place and at the right time, not to mention, whenever we need something, he provided. And until now, it has been like that. And we couldn’t be more thankful and grateful. We absolutely are so thankful and grateful for everything that He has given us.

Being Dizzy Makes Me Feel Daffy

I woke up feeling dizzy yesterday so I spent most of my day resting and just laying in bed. I took my vitamins and felt a little better when I went to pick my son up in this afternoon. But after that, I had muscle pains so I took me some pain meds. I am feeling quite okay now although I am still having dizzy spells from time to time.

It’s not so bad, though, that I can’t browse and read about the causes of dizziness because I am afraid it might be a symptom of something serious. So let me click to read more.
