A Belated Present

Author: I was surprised to see the husband carrying a large box when he got home from work today. From the wrapper itself, I already knew it was a wedding gift, but from whom and why so late? We are almost going to celebrate our second month of being married. Having it so late was no biggy to me, I wasn’t just expecting it.
The gift came from his office mates. There were a lot of them based on the writings and wishes on the card that came with the gift. Knowing that, I guess that was the reason why the gift came late. Perhaps they had to contribute for it and had to wait for each and everyone of them to give the contribution.
That was really so sweet of them.
