I Could Work, and Then Shop at Work After I Get Off
Being a stay-at-home mom has a lot of advantages. And I can’t think of a disadvantage except for boredom. LOL. But I guess boredom gets in our way from time to time wherever we are or whatever we are into.
I do love being at home, but I also have this urge sometimes of having a job. I hadn’t thought of it lately until I came across a kmart application for employment online. Kmart is one of our favorite stores to visit and check, like their sister company, Sears. And I guess it would be nice to work there, but not in the store but in the office. If given a chance, I might consider applying for a job there. Hmmm! We’ll see about that.
I Wanna Be a Workin’ Girl!
My husband and I are really hoping our papers will be issued this year so I can find me a job by next year. Initially, he didn’t want me to work. He wants me to be a stay at home wife and mom; besides, I am earning while at home. I agreed to the idea too. Who doesn’t want to stay at home? I don’t have to deal with the traffic, the bad weather and basically with any individuals. But after staying here at home for nearly a year now and doing the same things over and over again, every single day, I’ve finally got to the point that I’m tired and bored. So, I’ve decided that I will find me a job once I am allowed to. The husband agreed after a few talks, but since we have a student, most probably, I will get me a part-time job to begin with.
I’ve been checking online and I was so delighted that there are a lot of jobs available despite the recession. Though some of them are something that I don’t know how to do like the Database Administrator Jobs, there were jobs that I pretty well know I can do. I will continue my search once our papers are processed. I hope the jobs are still there by that time.
No Days Off at Work
He didn’t have a choice because that is how it worked for him this weekend. I am talking about the husband who worked overtime since Friday night, then whole day on Saturday and whole day again on Sunday.
They had to install a new equipment and they should finish it before the week starts. They were able to do it and they were happy about it, but husband really looked exhausted when he arrived last night. Poor hubby!
Glad I made him happy though by preparing his favorite breaded pork chops. It was what he had for dinner last night. He arrived at 8:00 o’clock, earlier than Saturday because he arrived at 10:00 o’clock then. Imagine that!?
But all is done and good to go now. He’ll be home at the usual time today, but we need to run errands like grocery shopping because we never got to do it on Saturday. Busy day ahead today!
My Poor Aching Bod
I’ve been suffering from a shoulder ache since Saturday. I think it has something to do with me playing as a pitcher with my son last week. I don’t exercise at all and that is why, even with just simple physical work or play, I easily get aches or muscle pains, etc.
The husband put an ointment on the affected area yesterday to soothe the muscle and it did help, but not totally. I still have the ache today though it’s more tolerable than the previous days. Do you think I need a chiropractor for this? I wish I knew somebody who is into one of those Chiropractor Jobs so I can have a discount. Teehee.
Work Awaits For Those Who Seek
I know not all people are affected with the crisis the economy has created. Some people who are unlucky to have been deprived of a job went into business or investing. And there are some too who still have a job, but still went into investing and that is because, their salary is not enough for their needs.
I am a stay-at-home mom and my husband is the one who works. But good thing, I have things I do online where I get paid. It is not much, but it helps. And I have been checking for the best things to invest our money into. Apart from that, I do look into everything there is that I can earn money with, and I guess I am not the only one who tries to find jobs online. It is the most convenient way to look for job after all.
