Although I know that the daily expenses and the bills are already part of necessary issues to deal with to be able to survive and continue to live in this dog-eat-dog world, still, prices of certain things never fail to surprise me and make me question why everything is priced so high.

Case in point, my soon to be car insurance policy. Just because I am a first time driver, my policy is based just like those of 16 year old drivers. Gosh! I am already in my mid 30’s. Our neighbor said that the level of maturity is different so why was their evaluation like that. And because of that, my insurance is way higher than that of my husband. It basically tripled. Imagine that!

I wonder how much a term life insurance policy would cost for me. The husband and I haven’t checked on that one yet, but since I will start driving soon, I deem it best for us to check the soonest too, huh? Reckon?

We were having dinner when my blackberry beeped. It’s my sister-in-law’s sister sending me a message. She’s giving herself a few minutes break before continuing to study her practice questions, so we are now currently chatting.

She will take an exam next month to be a certified nurse. Though she was really into it and studying hard, she still wishes that there would be no exam so she can just be a certified nurse pronto! LOL.

She’s a smart lady and I am pretty certain she will make it. Wishing her the best of luck!

We were on our way to the mall today when we passed by this man on the side of the street holding a card that said, “homeless.” He looked to be in his late 20’s and still capable of working, even a hard job, but with the economy that we have at present, I guess he hasn’t been lucky enough to get himself a job.

I pity him and I wonder if that is the only thing that he does to earn a living. I wish I could extend him some help, but I don’t have a job myself. I wonder what will he do if he ever gets sick? Does he think about his future at all other than just asking people for help? Does he even have any insurance? Does he even care to check www.trustedquote.com? Only he knows.
