A Woman’s Work is Never Done, Especially a Nurse
I was reading about the apidextra scam when my phone rang. I thought it was the husband because he always calls me everyday while at work. I was surprised that it was my girlfriend from Maryland. She seldom calls me because she is working as a nurse with a very hectic schedule. And I was surprised the more to learn that she was on duty when she called me. She was just having a break because she was already exhausted, and it was still the middle of her duty.
Poor friend! Well, we do need to work hard to survive in this dog-eat-dog world and I don’t think there is such a thing as non-tiring or non-exhausting work, is there?
Being Dizzy Makes Me Feel Daffy
I woke up feeling dizzy yesterday so I spent most of my day resting and just laying in bed. I took my vitamins and felt a little better when I went to pick my son up in this afternoon. But after that, I had muscle pains so I took me some pain meds. I am feeling quite okay now although I am still having dizzy spells from time to time.
It’s not so bad, though, that I can’t browse and read about the causes of dizziness because I am afraid it might be a symptom of something serious. So let me click to read more.
No Green Thumbs Have We
Lately, our weekends have been spent planting. We didn’t do much last spring so we are making the most of it this year. It’s mine and my husband’s first try because we both are not into gardening really. We are clueless when it comes to plants. Good thing our neighbors are helping us and giving us information.
Last Sunday, we planted lilies that our neighbor gave us. Unfortunately, the husband who was not used to digging hurt his back. He probably hurt a nerve or pulled a muscle. Hopefully he will not need a discectomy. That would be really a big problem. But we do think it’s going to be okay because he is feeling a lot better now after taking some pain medicines and getting some rest. I think he’s just getting old. What do you think, Honey? Teehee.
My Hard-Working Man
For the second time around, my husband spent his weekend working once again. They have a big project going on at work, thus, the overtime. He arrived home at a decent time on Saturday, but not yesterday. He got home at one o’clock in the morning after working 18 hours! He was really exhausted and though he was still smiling, I really felt sorry for him. What he most complains about is his aching hands and back because those are the parts that are greatly affected in what he was doing.
I do know what he had were only body aches and nothing serious that would need a serious treatment. Not the dual diagnosis treatment of some sort for sure. My man is tough. I know that because I have tested and proven it. (“,)
My Poor Aching Bod
I’ve been suffering from a shoulder ache since Saturday. I think it has something to do with me playing as a pitcher with my son last week. I don’t exercise at all and that is why, even with just simple physical work or play, I easily get aches or muscle pains, etc.
The husband put an ointment on the affected area yesterday to soothe the muscle and it did help, but not totally. I still have the ache today though it’s more tolerable than the previous days. Do you think I need a chiropractor for this? I wish I knew somebody who is into one of those Chiropractor Jobs so I can have a discount. Teehee.
