One thing that is sad about being away from my family is the joy of getting hugs and kisses from my little niece and nephew, 1 year old and 3 years old respectively. But thanks to the power of the internet and high-technology gadgets, I can talk to them via video call and can even watch their antics on videos recorded by their respective parents.

There was one video that my sister-in-law took of my niece and nephew both playing with their digital baby monitors. I didn’t get to use one with my son because he slept with me when he was young. But not them, thus, the need for those monitors which are really great! I might get one for my next baby. (“,)

My 8-yeard-old son received a PS2 set from my husband’s best friend on Christmas Day. It has been the toy that’s entertained him almost everyday from that time and on weekends after he went back to school. He is actually playing on it now.

I don’t know how to play it at all. I don’t even know how to operate it. Pitiful me. LOL. But I am updated with the latest gadgets to hit the market because of reading, but that’s just it: I don’t even know what’s the difference between a PS2 and a PS3. Maybe you can help me? Teehee.

My mind was full of daydreaming since early this morning. It started when a friend of mine mentioned about the latest gadget that she wants to purchase, and that’s a DSLR camera. I want one so badly for myself too. I like taking photographs and sharing them with the people that I love.

I do wonder when will that dream come true though. It’s still not possible because it’s out of our budget at the moment. We still have things to prioritize, one of which is processing mine and my son’s documents, saving for a trip in a few month’s time and buying new appliances for the house. I guess you could also include buying a pair of nike inflict wrestling shoes for my hubby’s nephew. He’s into that sport now and that’s what he wants for his birthday which is just around the corner. That one we shouldn’t miss because a birthday happens only once a year. And my hubby certainly loves making people happy on their special day. That being said, I think I just have to wait for my birthday, huh? We never know, my dream may come true then.

A few more weeks to go and I’ll have my new cell phone. I can hardly wait because it’s been three months that I haven’t had one which I am not used to. I had my cell phone back in my home country, but I had to leave it there because I couldn’t use it here in the US.

When my husband told me that I had to leave it and he would just buy me a new one, I was so delighted. Who wouldn’t be? I’ve already chosen what I want and that will be a blackberry bold. It’s the latest and most sought after on the market. I always go with what’s the latest so… I will see you soon my blackberry.
