PostHeaderIcon His Job is Never Ending

My husband just called to inform me that he had to work overtime because their misting system had problems. He doesn’t know yet how big the problem is and how long it will take him to fix it, meaning he will not be here for dinner.

That really sucks! I always look forward to the three of us having dinner together because that is the only time on week days when we have quality family time.

Well, we still have tomorrow. So here I am again, looking forward to the morrow.

Warm days are here! Those who love nature are certainly happy about that because this is the start of enjoying the great outdoors. Their gear is probably ready and they’re good to go anytime. I’m already seeing a lot of bikes on top of cars and even boats, kayaks, et cetera. And the hikers are probably starting and enjoying their hikes on weekends with their hiking backpacks and all.

I am not into hiking or any kind of exercise, but I do know how to enjoy the outdoors in my own way. Think of gardening and grilling. Those are exciting things to do too, aren’t they?

PostHeaderIcon Hurry Up, Spring; I’m Ready for the Great Outdoors!

It can’t be denied, spring is certainly just around the corner. We went shopping for home decors yesterday and outdoor umbrellas are already on display. There was actually one that caught my fancy, but we don’t need one just yet because we bought us a new patio umbrella last spring. And though it has been outside all autumn and winter, it is still looking good. And should last for years, I believe, and maybe even a lifetime because we did choose one that is durable. But still, it remains to be seen.

PostHeaderIcon I Finally Got Hold of It

After like a month of dealing with different kinds of issues, I finally got hold of my PayPal Debit Card. The husband was all smiles when he walked inside the house a couple of days ago, a white envelope on his hand. He knows about the issues that I’ve gone through before I got approved for one. I had to provide PayPal with a lot of documents to prove that I am the same person as the account holder.

I know it is an SOP, but there were inconsistencies along the way. I’ve already submitted documents and IDs and they asked me again. I had to call and talked to their customer service representative and I was told, I only need to send a proof of residency and that’s it. But after I sent it, I received an email that my ID is also needed. DUH!

I didn’t want to call again so, I gave them what they wanted. Soon enough, I got an email stating that my Debit Card is on its way. Thanks a lot!

PostHeaderIcon A Tornado Hit His Room!

I was supposed to do the laundry today, but after seeing my son’s room, I decided to delay it until tomorrow and clean up his room first; it was just so messy. Well, with an 8-year-old boy living in there, I guess that’s a given, huh?

He does have boxes for his toys, but they were just scattered everywhere. Lego pieces here and there, a topsy-turvy bed, books scattered on his desk and dollar coins on the floor. I do have an idea though why he didn’t bother to put the coins in his piggy bank or clean up his mess: he was so engrossed with his new play station video games. Oh well, boys will be boys.
