PostHeaderIcon Better Safe Than Sorry

Hearing about people, especially kids, drowning is really heartbreaking. I know it’s the last thing that parents or a family want to deal with, but unfortunately, accidents do happen.

But we can always take precautionary measures to avoid such accidents. Having pool fencing, for example, offers extra safety to keep the kids from going to the pool without adult supervision and help prevent accidents from happening.

PostHeaderIcon Day After Christmas

The day after Christmas is probably one of the saddest days for me. Christmas is over and the excitement is gone. And though we all had a blast on Christmas Eve at my BIL’s and on Christmas Day next door, I can’t help but be a little sad today. I have to wait for another 365 days once again until next Christmas. (“,)

To keep myself busy, I did the laundry and cleaned up my son’s room. He received a lot of gifts like books, toys and clothes, so, I arranged them neatly in his bedroom. I got a gift from my SIL and lotsa gifts from the husband. He’s got his share of lovely gifts too. (“,)

It was a Merry Christmas indeed for all of us!

PostHeaderIcon Christmas: A Woman’s Perfect Excuse to Shop

TGIF! Time really flies by so quick and I am so glad that it is already Saturday because I’ve been looking forward to the weekend. You know why? It’s because we are going to finish our Christmas shopping – one of my most favorite things. Hehe.

And though the weather will be kind of wet today which is one thing that I really don’t like when we travel, still, it won’t stop me from going. We have our welding jackets, anyway. Ooops, I mean our winter jackets. Though it will not be snowing, the temperature will drop to the 40’s so winter jackets will be perfect.

I can’t wait!

PostHeaderIcon I Need a Break!

My husband prefers that I stay home rather than work. I do earn while at home and he said it’s enough to get us through. But after a year of staying at home, it’s taken its toll on me. I am seated in front of the computer most of the day, thus, I am starting to have lower back pains and also my arms are starting to get numb. If I get to work outside of the house, though, I know I will still sit, but at least I get to walk not to mention, see the outside world. Do I sound like I am living inside a cave? LOL. Well, it feels like since I only get to go out during weekends. (“,)

Also, I love dressing and dolling myself up. When I am at home, I am only in my pjs most of the time, especially during the cool months. Wearing a uniform and perhaps one of those name plates are cool not to mention a reason for me to go shopping for new work apparel.

Well, we are looking into it and we’ll see what happens.

PostHeaderIcon No White Christmas?

Yeah, I think we will not have a White Christmas this year unlike last year. We’ve been checking the forecast and the temperature will be in the 50′s in the coming days. We didn’t even have flurries yet. It snowed on Wednesday night last week, but it was so little that it was gone in the morning.

My son and I were excited to see the snowflakes that night, but that was it. My husband is not looking forward to snow since he travels half an hour everyday to work and another half an hour back home. I don’t have to deal with it since I am just at home so I really want it to snow. (“,)

Maybe I will just keep on singing, huh? And we never know…miracles do happen.

Let it snow…let it snow…let it snow…
